Hey friends,

If you're up at 7:45 am MST on Friday, 9/25, tune in to Durango's 92.9 FM The Point (or stream it!)  Friday's show will feature Lazer Poppleton - Poppletonia's lighting and visual magician!

Saturday night (9/26) we'll be at the Floating Lotus in Ridgway, CO.  From out of town?  Come up for the weekend, camp with us, hit the hot springs!

Saturday night (10/3) we'll be back in Durango at the Indigo Room, a year after our first show at this sweet little venue.  Doc's birthday is at midnight, come help us welcome it!  (Don't worry, the show ends at 10.)  Tickets are available on thepoppletons.net.

Hope to see you!!!

The Poppletons

Hey friends,

Please join us in the forest as we take the Bootleg Stage this Saturday night, 8/8, just outside of town at 614 Whistling Horse Trail!

Gates - 5 pm
Chris Wilkom - 5:30 pm
Damn the Moon - 6:30 pm
The Poppletons - 8:00 pm - two sets!

Please try to bring cash - the $20 cover supports the bands and crew - Venmo should work. BYOB and a chair if you want to sit, or you can dance the night away! Always consider carpooling!

Well, technically, June 19 is still spring, but it's gonna be HOT in Durango!  Come see us supporting nationally-touring J Roddy Walston and The Automatic Band.  We get to play the ACT again!  Buy your tickets and support local music and bringing national acts to SW Colorado!

On July 1, The Poppletons will play The Powerhouse's Community Concert Series, a don't-miss-outdoor-by-the-river-at-5:30pm tradition.  Proceeds that evening will benefit La Plata County Humane Society.  This is a rare all-ages The Poppletons set, and an early one, too, we hope to see you there!  Get your tickets now!

And we're cooking up a show on the Bootleg Stage on August 8, and that's all we're gonna say about that right now, but stay tuned …

Also, we're periodically posting new music on our website and videos on PoppletonTV.  Check it out!

Hi, we're excited to share our I Am Music Festival info and hope you can come see us.

The Poppletons
American Legion Dancehall
Saturday, May 2, 11:15 pm

We were initially surprised to learn our start time, but upon further reflection, we like that we are part of “Fest! Late Night” - and we weren't surprised by the venue, it's right near the other stages and is a nice, big room.  And for those of us who don't usually go to shows that start at 11:15 pm, WE CAN RALLY!  It's a quick 45 minute set and we are going to crush it!

AND WE ARE THE LAST BAND OF THE FESTIVAL!  3 days, 8 venues, 25+ bands, and we get to close it down!!!

Here's the schedule of three days where you can also buy your tickets.  You can buy a ticket for Saturday late night only (you'll see two great bands: JAW and The Poppletons) or Saturday day and night, or the entire weekend.  See you there!

Thanks for hanging out with us at the Animas City Theatre on February 13!  Check out Joe Burns's amazing concert photos here, and keep an eye on PoppletonsTV for video, and somewhere? for a sound recording.

If not sooner, we'll be playing at the Durango I Am Music Festival the first weekend of May.  25+ bands, 8 stages, what a weekend!  Hope to see you there, tickets are available (and cheapest) now!

Listen to The Poppletons LIVE on Durango's 92.9 The Point on Monday morning at 8:30 am MST (TOMORROW!)   Or listen online at 929thepoint.com.

And be sure to get your Animas City Theatre ticket now (no-fee paper tickets available at Animas Trading Company!)   The show is this Friday and we'd really love to see you there!!!  Costumes?  Spooky, saucy, silly: it's Friday the 13th and Valentine's Eve!

Animas City Theatre, Durango, CO
Friday, February 13, 7 pm

Tickets available online; no-fee paper tickets at Animas Trading Company on Main Ave in Durango.

See you Friday!

Happy New Year!  Thanks to all who helped us sell out - and rock out - Durango's Black Heron Lounge on Friday, 12/19/25.  The complete show will air tonight on PoppletonsTV at 5 pm MST, and will remain available.  Check it out and stay tuned for news!

In preparation for Friday's show at Black Heron Lounge, we've released a super sweet video of our song “Butterfly.”  Multiple camera angles capture both up-close shots of guitars and drums, and the view from the crowd, including the big balloon drop!  If you were at the Indigo Room that night or if you weren't, we think you'll enjoy this video!  And if you're local, please come to Black Heron Lounge this Friday, Dec 19.

Buy Black Heron Lounge tickets!

Watch Butterfly now!

Hey Poppletons!

Check out our Radio Free Durango interview with Devin Scott at 5 pm MST today!  In addition to bucolic story-telling, you'll hear six songs: three studio, and three brand new live tracks!  Listen in town at 99.7 FM, or online!

Have you seen our 11/01/25 show on Poppletons TV yet?  And, of course, we'll see you in person at Black Heron Lounge on Dec 19, get your tickets now!

Love, The Poppletons
