We're excited to announce that, four weeks from tonight, The Poppletons will play our debut show at Durango's Black Heron Lounge! If you haven't been to Black Heron Lounge, we'll keep your dirty little secret, but you'd better get over there on Friday, December 19! The Poppletons will play from 9 to 11 followed by our DJ friend Listening to the Sky (aka Popnlockndroppleton.) The great Lazer Poppleton will be doing lights and effects! You don't want to miss this show! $10 tickets will be available on our website in the next few days, please check back!
Sundae Sunday - November 16!
Halloween!
We're excited to share with you our third track, Pocket of Light, recorded in August at Dusty Records in Durango. These tracks were recorded live with vocals overdubbed. Gone But Not Leaving Me was shorter in the studio, but is always long when played live! Listen here and on Soundcloud!
Pop over to Youtube and watch our performance of Pocket of Light at The Starlight on 10/28/25 (to close a dark jammy mini set of The Wheel → Shooter → Pocket of Light.)
Check out The Captain's short videos (including Pocket of Light) on our Instagram!
Happy Halloween, we'll see some of you out there, for sure …
